The most interesting part of this post is that I am posting from the airplane. They have wifi which is as delightful as it is horribly distracting.
The bright side is that I have spent considerable time researching methods for shooting in 3-D. It looks like it is feasible and not too expensive. The real question is whether or not this technology is really going to take off. There is a plethora of buzz on the matter. Okay, I don't know if you clicked on all of those links and you really don't have to except the last one. Slim Shady in 3-D? Either way, the point of the modern 3-D fad is that anyone can do it. The mounts are DIY, so as long as you have a camera this could be shot like mumblecore. Mumblecore. That's certainly a discussion for another day. Okay I think I am going to sign off here.

Neight,
If you're concerned about imaging technology and whether or not Real-D 3D is going to take off, I would recommend trying to find out as much as you can about Eric Rosenthal. He's developing new technology that approaches light as wave forms as well as particle matter (current technologies approach it solely as particle matter). It's the next level in definition and it caters more accurately to human sight processes.
You actually updated... I'm shocked.
